Mammoth Lakes (Memorial Day)

Day 3: Walk back down the valley, very easy walking compared to up. Meet heaps of people coming up for short walks up to the meadow and back for a sunday stroll. Stop back in town for lunch and more lovely beer. Also visit the ranger station and look at what to do with the rest of the afternoon. Decide to head out to Inyo Craters. They look interesting, and short. They are certainly interesting. From there it was just a burn home, brightened up by the crazy dudes in their decorated caprice, complete with sparkly striping, and a tv over the rearview mirror so they could watch their sports.

We didn't go up this way, we crossed in a different spot

So we had to come across this lengthier, chillier crossing

Jess's feet went all red and numb from the cold.
